I love Battlecat in his element. shit is that Dr. Dre gets more credit than most producers over in the West Coast because the East Coast Accepted his ass. I still don't care for a Dre Beat, but when you have cats like Jay-Z or Nas liking his shit, it just makes me feel that they aren't lookin' too hard for those Battlecat Beats. Dr. Dre's beats are more commercial at best. a Battlecat beat was one you could ride too. he's worked with almost everybody in the West and some folks in the South. He might be getting some attention nowadays from the East, but it's unlikely. I wish him much success because he's doing his own thing without samples, something I've been thinking of doing for a minute now.
